New Feature: Pre-Shift Daily Report

Jan 22, 2014 1:31:11 PM / by Matt Thompson

The Daily Report has always been an important piece of ShiftNote, allowing users to get a summary of log notes, stats, events and weather from the previous day. Previously, you could only receive the information in the Daily Report once the day's shifts had ended. We havenow introduced a secondversion of the Daily Report, the Pre-Shift Daily Report, which you can set to receive before or during the current day. This report can come in addition to the Post-Shift Daily Report, or on it's own depending on the information that is important to you.

The benefit of receiving the Pre-Shift Daily Report is that you will be able to see events and tasks that are due, and if you have the scheduling feature turned on, the staff roster of anyone scheduled to work for that day will also be attached for viewing. To begin receiving a Pre-Shift Daily Report, log into your ShiftNote account and go to the Account area via the link under your name on the left hand side of the page. Click on the Daily Report & Locations tab, and from here you can choose whether you want to receive a Post-Shift Daily Report, Pre-Shift Daily Report, or both, and you can also decide when you would like to receive them.

You can also setup the Pre-Shift Daily Report to come in the middle of the day or after a morning/lunch shift to have it act as a mid-day report, capturing the first half of the day and sending a mid-day update.

However you choose to set it up, we hope you find the new Pre-Shift Daily Report a useful new addition that will help you to better communicate with and manage your teams.
